Sexual Slavery in Northern Afghanistan (Continued)

This is in continuation to my previous blog over sexual Slavery of children in Afghanistan. Winning the hearts and minds of the people who has a heart or mind is a goal of necessity when it comes to conquering or securing a territory from being hostile. Since the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) has done a tremendous job in achieving the hearts and minds of the local population, as well as providing security for as many as 15 out of 34 provinces in Afghanistan. In fact, insurgency in northern Afghanistan was/is at its minimum, no threat has been recorded from people living  in the cities very close to the (ISAF) military basis, and people have been enjoying apparently a very free and peaceful environment in such areas. In addition, most of the International peace keeping forces established major army and military basis in northern Afghanistan as well.

Additionally, most of the development projects and donations have been routed to the areas where security risk was/is at its minimum.  One can see the progress and improvement in these territories through new constructions sites, and lifestyle changes. From political prospective, powerful war-lords  of pre-ISAF Afghanistan, are the major political figures of today's Afghanistan. Even though,  they are wanted in major cases of human rights abuses occurred in 1989-2001, and for many other severe violations and crimes against humanity during their war-lord-ism under their territories. These war-lords are in control of the so called " Sovereign northern-Afghanistan territories. Development projects, crimes, security matters, police, Afghan army and all are consulting these unanimous war-lords before any plan thing could happen there, so is the crimes against humanity and children. In fact, these war-lords, power-lords, and animal-lords are part  and accomplices of such heinous acts and crimes.

Above facts and comparisons are well known to international presence in Afghanistan. Unfortunately paid no interests in whatever is going on in such a territories that is home to these criminal war-lords. The ISAF countries should know that these are crimes against humanity, if ISAF does not pay attention to preventing such absurd crimes against children, the purpose of presence in ISAF is meaningless in Afghanistan. All these nations has to respond to the international tribunal for what and why they are in Afghanistan, while crimes against speechless, voiceless kids is a day-to-day business.

This is only one of the crimes brought up and disclosed by ABC, what about other crimes that will take decades to prevail?.
I believed that major international peace keeping forces are well trained to prevent crimes before it happen. Unfortunately it appeared to be wrong, at least in this case. Crimes are taking place under the noses of world's strongest armies, and it has took at least 9 years to be proven by someone who has nothing to do with military power.

It is true that the USA and other allied forces paid their maximum effort to eradicate terrorism from southern  and southwestern parts of Afghanistan. They do this with an army of thousands, because it is a legitimate concern for the rest of the international community. I am sure the international army led by the United States is very close to achieve peace and stability in Afghanistan mostly in southern part. However, will the post-war southern Afghanistan will be as peaceful as northern territories, which will be locally ruled by a war-lord? if so, then there is no peace, no stability, no comfort for Afghan families in such model territories. Because, the definition of peace and stability in northern Afghanistan, appears to be different from what exactly it meant to be.

Well, finally, one could argue to a maximum extends, since there are  many materials to be argued about. Let's urge the international peace keeping forces to act immediately, bring such criminal war-lords, or anyone who is accomplice to these crimes against children in Afghanistan to justice and apply the maximum punishment for such brutal and inhuman crimes. It does not matter what part of Afghanistan is involved, Afghans know better that it is a national catastrophic crime against children famously happens all over Afghanistan. I don't care if the reason is illiteracy, civil-war, national-war, or whatever. This has to be stopped, now!
