President Karzai's gullible remarks

President Hamid Karzai is under enormous internal and external pressure due to slow pace of progress, upcoming offensive aimed at Kandahar stronghold, as well as Karzai's home town, and complains in regards to corruption, incompetency, and inadequate implication of law in order.

In the midst of he controversial trip to Kandahar, he tries to avoid more bloodshed, civilians deaths, and other calamities typically accompanied with such enormous military offensives. Therefore, he is, in my humble opinion, using a bit bitter language in order to bring the majority of these tribal, who are associated with insurgents, to abandon their weapons, and be peaceful residents.

In these hard times, he definitely needs the support of international fraternity, patience, and expertise from Afghans themselves and from international community as well. I am sure the international community is not going to tie their willingness to a couple of negative rhetorics blushed out in Karzai's recent trip to Kandahar. In fact, they know the severity of these conditions and they will definitely jump into help Karzai in his challenges, once they were asked to do so.

For the Afghans, please constrain your verbal assault on a "President of a country"'s personnel matters. One might be practicing he/her newly improved vocabulary, but at the end of the day, it is still called "defamation on purpose".
