A country wherein miserable mishaps have a dominating factor in its entire geopolitical history, has a very obvious patrons of behavioral signals that would present a clue about the majority of this country's traumatic past.
In this case I would like to talk about Afghanistan and its civil-war generation or those Afghan individuals born after 1965 or later.
Since the Afghan war generation is alive and actively involved in many current issues, certain psychological factors and clues could be seen in the behaviors of even most popular political figures of Afghanistan. I would discuss the nonspecialist side of such behaviors. The rest could be determined by a licensed or trained Psychologist/Psychiatrist for treatment or research purposes.
There are certain major issues that needs to be reviewed and re-evaluated by the Afghan people in order to determine and launch a national awareness of avoiding next generation clashing on such matters and issues. One of these issues are ethnically motivated slurs, arguments, and many other verbal assaults and interactions seen in cyber world and mass media.
One can bring many other examples that are very similar and have almost certain motivations. In my humble opinion, many politicians are part of such interactions. Others are failed to prevent such ethnic division roused and occurred in their presence. In my personal research, I have found that the above generation of mostly Pashtoon, Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks share a fair responsibility of promoting such ethnically motivated dubious slurs. Others are involved in founding radical, and fundamentalist groups that are partially or completely based on either religious fascism or organized racism.
One would ask how these racism, radicalism and fascism issues be related to a post- or intra-war behavioral psychological defects. Well, there is a very good connection between the recent history of the nation, that is ruled by ethnically pashtons, lack of democracy illiteracy caused many mishaps including many human rights violations. However, Afghans of all ethnicities are hard to convince in forgetting their past, that "hard-to-convince" is a psychological problem. World has changed, today's modern, mostly western European nations have gone through catastrophic world wars, but now they are allies. Compared to them, Pashtons, Tajiks, Hazaras, and Uzbeks have had a minimum history of such bad incidents, or rights violations. In addition, They were, unlikely Europeans, residents of one country (Afghanistan).
If leaders of certain political groups are involved in promotion of ethnic violence, then that nation, group, or cult has no future in a society where co-existence, tolerance, and multi-ethnicity dictates the citizens laws and relationship toward others. My advice to everyone is to come together, build your future, Afghanistan's future, or in anther term, next generation's future in forgetting the mistakes happened in the past, and promise to each-other for not repeating such abuses, human-rights violations, and ethnically motivated social sub-devisions.
I am sure there are many visual evidence in today's world of youtube generation, but I reserve the right to avoid publishing any of them. Not in this topic.
