$5 billion Japanese Aid to Afghanistan

In the course of war against international terrorism, people of Afghanistan are the center of gravity for all military and non-military attention. The country was surviving without a financial structure or income for decades till the United State Army moved into the country to tackle a common enemy. Since then, it has been eight years, billions of dollars have been donated, spent, and allocated to so called "development projects". Corruption was the last tool Afghans and international fraternity would not expect in this turbulence to happen, but somehow it was added up to the pile of social calamities that Afghans and International Allies must fight.

The lack of acceptable and proper leadership in Afghanistan brought the nation into a chaos. International donors are hesitant to help Afghans to achieve their social, political and financial goals. Their concerns are regarding the future of ordinary Afghans, who has suffered the most, and they are/were the main target of donations. But, in last 8 years, most of the donations have gone into the pockets of rich war-lords and power-lords.

However, sincere and generous friends of Afghans such as United States of America, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and India have never stepped back from an opportunity to fix social and geopolitical problems of Afghanistan, even if it costed billions of dollars. Latest Japanese donation of 5 billion dollars shows how quickly they act when needed. They are always happy to see Afghans are helping and developing their nation and country. On the contrary, those who think other way around about these donations must know that Afghanistan has nothing to offer in return, but thankfulness and gratitude.

In addition, corruption, narcotics, war-lord-ism, abuse of power, lack of proper and honest leadership, will bring nothing to Afghan society but economic depression, and will fuel terrorism, fundamentalism, fanaticism, and extremism. Internal fraternity and community cannot help Afghans if they do not stand to challenge the above mentioned crisis. In the other hand, if the Afghans do not utilize the help and support of international community, Afghanistan will definitely converge into the fate of non-existence.

In accordance, I am suggesting my Afghan fellows to be grateful to the gratitude of international donors, and consider that their tax-payers’ money should be used to free the country from poverty, terrorism, narcotics, and corruption. This fact is widely understood by those Afghans who are living in these donor countries. Therefore, they have fair share of responsibility to raise their voice to reach those Afghans who are brain-washed by foreign fugitives and other enemies hiding in caves bordered to Afghanistan.
